We remember our members who will celebrate birthdays this week—Angie Lichtle, Kent Stoppenhagen, Brandon Buuck, Dawn Buuck, Nathan Buuck, Kari Heckman, Trisha Hockemeyer, Lucas Strickler, Jill Blomenberg, and Cindy Wass. May our loving Savior direct, bless, and guide their lives.

May the Great Physician grant health and strength to all who are in need.  We especially remember in our prayers Celia Bultemeyer, daughter of Scott & Carrie Bultemeyer and great-niece of Les & Karen Conrad, Jerry Bultemeyer, Waldo & Rosie Bultemeier and Jim & Cheryl Bultemeyer, and Walter Nuerge who is a patient at Adams County Memorial Hospital.

We remember DeWayne and Deb Gallmeyer in our prayers today as they celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary this Tuesday, July 13, and Wally and Rosie Bultemeier who will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary on Saturday, July 17.  May the Lord continue to bless these couples.

Included in this morning’s bulletin is our weekly study guide, “Time in the Word.”   This week’s theme is “The Nature of the Kingdom.”

Tune in to the Lutheran Hour next Sunday.  The show airs on Sunday on WLW (700) out of Cincinnati at 7 a.m. and on Van Wert stations WERT (1220) and WKSD (99.7 FM) at 10:30 a.m.  (With the time change, you may wish to double-check the times of the Ohio programs.)  The program airs on Sunday at 8:05 a.m. on WZBD (92.7 FM) and then on WFCV (1090 AM) at 3:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.

Stewardship Committee’s Food for Thought:  The biggest factor in determining if you will live the abundant life that God wants you to have is which master receives your devotion.  Consider this verse:  “You cannot serve both God and money.” – Matthew 6:24

Have you ever tuned in to “Issues, Etc.” that airs LIVE on Sunday evenings from 10 p.m. to 11 p.m. on WLYV (1450 AM) in Fort Wayne and on a tape-delay basis on Sunday evenings from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. on WFCV (1090 AM) in Fort Wayne?  “Reformation Truths & Early Church Fathers” is the topic of this week’s program with discussion led by Rev. Wil Weedon of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Hamel, Illinois.

The men’s softball team has two games at Hoagland this week—Fuelling at 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 13, and Soest at 8:30 p.m. on Friday, July 16.

Our Quarterly Voters’ Meeting will follow the worship service this morning.  Please plan on staying and hearing from our various boards and committees.

The LWML will have their quarterly meeting on Tuesday, July 13.  The meeting will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the church basement.  All ladies are invited to attend and hear the news from the convention!
