The Acolyte Cam Thieme

We remember our members who will celebrate birthdays this week –Mrs. Lynn Fuhrmann, Cindy Krueckeberg, Glenn Buuck, Chelsae Armao, Calvin Buuck, Leona Worth, Willis Conrad, Lin Gorman, and Kelly Mourey.  May our Loving Father continue to direct, bless, and guide them.

May the Great Physician grant health and strength to all who are in need of His presence in their life.  We especially remember Karl King who is receiving rehabilitation at Markle, Indiana, Rev. Timothy Sims who underwent knee replacement surgery, Virginia Roy, mother of Lin Gorman, and Tom Dafforn, Hollie Hormann’s father, in our prayers.

We remember in our prayers the family and friends of Marie Blomenberg, mother of Ted Blomenberg, who was called to her heavenly home on Monday, June 3, and will be given Christian burial here at Friedheim tomorrow.  The funeral service begins at 10:30 a.m.  May the God of all comfort be with those who mourn and remind them of that great day when they will be reunited with their loved one in heaven.

We rejoice with Jon and Angie (Snover) Gallmeyer on the birth of their second daughter, Jaylen Grace, on Thursday, May 30.  May the Good Shepherd keep a watchful eye on this most precious of His lambs.

We pray the Lord’s blessing upon Paul & Cindy Des Jean who will celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary this Tuesday, June 11.  May our Loving Savior continue to be at the heart of their home.

We remember the “Class of 2002” as many will graduate this afternoon.  We pray the Lord’s richest blessings upon Brandon Kock, Monica Manley, Aaron Conrad, Matt DeKoninck, Kellie Erxleben, Zac Lichtle, Candace Sielschott, Drew Stoppenhagen, Justin Jackson, and Sandra Ebler (a foreign exchange student who has been staying with the Don Erxleben family).  The AAL will present each member of the “Class of 2002” with a special gift to commemorate this important milestone in their lives.

The choir will meet following the worship service this morning.

Included in this morning’s bulletin is our weekly study guide, “Time in the Word.”  This week’s theme is “The Formation of God’s People.”

Tune in to the Lutheran Hour next Sunday.  The show airs on Sunday on WLW (700) out of Cincinnati at 7 a.m. and on Van Wert stations WERT (1220) and WKSD (99.7 FM) at 10:30 a.m. (Remember the time change may affect the times you can hear these programs).
