We remember our members who will celebrate birthdays this week –Taya Amsbury, Becky Blomenberg, Shirley Gehres, Lydia Dahling, Drew Stoppenhagen, Jared Alan Witte (his first!!) Eldina Boese, Betty Sielschott, Josh Stoppenhagen, and Kim Stoppenhagen.  We also remember our Wyneken teachers’ aides, Hollie Hormann, Kim Ehlerding, and Thelma Standiford, and our school secretary, Danielle Fuhrman, Shelly Kiefer, one of our Sunday School teachers, and Kristie Brown who teaches at South Adams.  May the Lord continue to direct, bless, and guide them.

May the Great Physician grant health and strength to all who are in need of His presence in their life.  We especially remember Hunter Wilkinson who is in the neonatal intensive care unit at Lutheran, Megan Schamerloh, Karl King who underwent tests at the VA Hospital, Lucas Strickler who was a patient at Parkview, Virginia Roy, mother of Lin Gorman, and Tom Dafforn, Hollie Hormann’s father, in our prayers.

We also remember in our prayers the Armao and Stout families.  Bob Armao has completed his vicarage and will receive his first call at the Candidate Call Service at 7 p.m. at Kramer Chapel this Wednesday.  Tim Stout will receive his vicarage assignment on Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Kramer Chapel.  We pray for the Armaos as they anxiously await their first placement and the Stouts as they look forward to their vicarage assignment.  May the Lord bless these ministries.

The flowers on the altar are to the glory of God and in honor of the Confirmation Class of 1942 who were confirmed on March 29, 1942.  We welcome this class—Wilma (Schroeder) Taylor, Helen (Gallmeyer) Bultemeier, Dorothy (Moellering) Hoffman, Bernice (Stoppenhagen) Berning, Margaret (Nielson) Fenner, Robert Kiefer, Maurice (Butch) Heckman, Gerhard Witte, and Delmar Heckman.  Norman Ostermeyer, another member of the class, has gone to his heavenly home.  We pray the Lord will continue to bless them and let their faith grow.

We welcome our Wyneken 6th & 7th grade choir, directed by Becky Klenke.  We thank them for sharing their gift of music with us.
