We remember our members who will celebrate birthdays this week—Lynn Fuhrmann, Laurina Conrad, Randy Everett, Ryan Linnemeier, Merilyn Stoppenhagen, Gretchen Baumann, Mitch Baumann, Harvey Caston, Pam Everett, Don Gehres, Rosa DeKoninck, Vivian Miller, Clayton Stoppenhagen, Kim Weiland, Tricia Bultemeyer, Kevin Buuck, Nathan Conrad, Alex Miller, and Kylene Nidlinger.  We also remember Mary Nichols, our 3rd/4th split grade teacher, Bonnie Buuck, one of our Sunday School teachers, and Linda Keuneke who teaches at Bishop Luers.  May the Lord continue to direct, bless, and guide them.

May the Great Physician grant health and strength to all who are in need of His presence in their life.  We especially remember George Geyer who was a patient at Adams County Memorial Hospital this past week, Kent Krueckeberg, father of Jessica Linnemeier, Virginia Roy, mother of Lin Gorman, and Katharine (Katie) Sedwick, daughter of our former seminarian, Mark Sedwick, in our prayers.

The flowers on the altar are to the glory of God and in loving memory of Alfred Buuck.  The flowers have been placed in church by his family.

Included in this morning’s bulletin is our weekly study guide, “Time in the Word.”  This week’s theme is “Faith in the Promises of God.”

Tune in to the Lutheran Hour next Sunday.  The show airs on Sunday on WLW (700) out of Cincinnati at 7:00 a.m. and on Van Wert stations WERT (1220) and WKSD (99.7 FM) at 10:30 a.m.  The program airs Sunday at 8:05 a.m. on WZBD (92.7 FM) and again at 3:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. on WFCV (1090 AM).
