We remember our members who will celebrate birthdays this week—Esther Gallmeyer, Jo Buuck, Mark Conrad, Todd Lee, Adam Sielschott, Brett Conrad, Doris Conrad, Gary Heckman, Jon Kiefer, Lisa Bultemeier, Jim Bultemeyer, Dorothy Droege, Donna Hileman, and Christine Hoffman.  We also remember Ruth Armao, our 4th grade teacher, as well as Lisa Erxleben, one of our Sunday School teachers, and Jan Heimann who teaches at Bellmont.  May the Lord continue to direct, bless, and guide them.

We welcome Olivia Ann Conrad, daughter of Mark & Carma (Kleine) Conrad into church membership through the Sacrament of Holy Baptism.  Serving as sponsors are Jane Kleine and Myra Niemeyer.  We pray that the Good Shepherd will keep an ever-watchful eye on this most precious of His lambs.

May the Great Physician grant health and strength to all who are in need of His presence in their life.  We especially remember Kent Krueckeberg, father of Jessica Linnemeier, and Katharine (Katie) Sedwick, daughter of our former seminarian, Mark Sedwick, in our prayers.  If you wish to send cards or notes of encouragement, you can reach Mark & LeeAnn Sedwick at 5720 Andorra Dr., Ft. Wayne, Indiana  46835.

We welcome Chris Rhymer who has transferred to us from St. John’s Bingen and Brian Bergdall and his children, Brittany, Brandon, and Alan into the Friedheim family.  We pray that the Lord will bless them in their new church home.

Included in this morning’s bulletin is our weekly study guide, “Time in the Word.”  This week’s theme is “The Source and Solution of Sin.”

Tune in to the Lutheran Hour next Sunday.  The show airs on Sunday on WLW (700) out of Cincinnati at 7:00 a.m. and on Van Wert stations WERT (1220) and WKSD (99.7 FM) at 10:30 a.m.  The program airs Sunday at 8:05 a.m. on WZBD (92.7 FM) and again at 3:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. on WFCV (1090 AM).

NOTE:  The 5th & 6th and 7th & 8th grade Sunday School classes will meet in church, not in the Parish Hall, this morning.

Midweek Lenten services begin this Wednesday with our Ash Wednesday worship service with Holy Communion.  The service begins at 7:30 p.m.  The theme for this year’s midweek services is “The Lord’s Prayer.”  On Wednesday, Pastor Dahling’s sermon will be “The Introduction:  A Prayer of David – Total and Complete.”
