We remember our members who will celebrate birthdays this week—Marilyn Buuck, Marc Lichtle, Alex Weiland, Jim Crosby, Matt DeKoninck, Andrew Werling, Karl King, Nan Nidlinger, Sabrina Putteet, Karen Conrad, Lisa Kiess, Laura Knipstein, Jim Fuhrman, and Allyssa Johnson.  We also remember Dean Wass, our 6th grade teacher, as well as Lisa Lee, one of our Sunday School teachers, and Christine Bultemeier who teaches in the public school.  May the Lord continue to direct, bless, and guide them.

May the Great Physician grant health and strength to all who are in need of His presence in their life.  We especially remember Kent Krueckeberg, father of Jessica Linnemeier, who has been hospitalized and Clarence Bultemeier who was hospitalized this past week but has since returned home.  We also remember our former seminarian, Mark Sedwick, in our prayers as his daughter is undergoing treatments for leukemia at Riley Hospital in Indianapolis.

We welcome Rev. Marvin Hinkle back to Friedheim as he is delivering this morning’s sermon message.  We pray that the Lord will continue to guide and direct him.

We express our Christian sympathy to the family and friends of Ed Minster, father of Donna Schieferstein, who was called to his heavenly home on Saturday, January 19, and was given Christian burial this past Wednesday, January 23.  May the God of all comfort be with those who mourn and remind them of that glorious day when we will all be reunited with our loved ones in heaven.

A special thanks to Marvin Drier who has enhanced our service this morning by sharing is gift of music with us.  May the Lord continue to bless him.

Included in this morning’s bulletin is our weekly study guide, “Time in the Word.”  This week’s theme is “The People God Blesses.”
