We remember those members who will celebrate birthdays this week – Jill Blomenberg, Chad Fuhrman, Evie Fuhrman, Shelli Spangler, Brandon Miller, Benjamin Miller, and Randy Moellering. May the Lord continue to guide, direct, and bless them.
May the Great Physician grant health and strength to all
who are in need of His presence in their lives. We especially remember Phyllis Nidlinger, mother of John
Nidlinger, who is in failing health, Corbin Bultemeier who underwent surgery
last Friday and Bonnie Buuck who will undergo surgery tomorrow.
Congratulations to Heidi Knipstein and Jim Wilkinson who
were married yesterday afternoon at St. John’s Bingen.
We pray that the Lord will guide and bless this couple as they begin
their lives together.
We remember John & Nan Nidlinger who will celebrate
their 25th wedding anniversary this Tuesday, July 17.
We also remember Al and Shirley Hormann who will celebrate their 45th
wedding anniversary on Saturday, July 21. We
pray the Lord’s continued blessings upon each of these couples.
We remember the family and friends of Bertha Witte who
was called to her heavenly home last Sunday, July 8, and was given Christian
burial on Thursday, July 12. We
also remember the family and friends of Joyce Bultemeier, sister-in-law of
Leonard Bultemeier, who was also called to her heavenly home last Sunday, July
8, and was given Christian burial last Thursday.
May the God of all comfort be with those who mourn and remind them of
that great day when we will be reunited with our loved ones in heaven.
We remember in our prayers our Synod.
At yesterday’s convention, a new president of our Synod was elected.
We pray that the Lord would guide him and our Synod as well as bless the
work of the church.
Included in this morning’s bulletin is our weekly study

Wyneken Expansion Financial
We would like to thank everyone who has made pledge contributions to this
important project. As printed in
the 2nd quarter financial reports, we had a total of $176,971.14 on
hand as of June 30, 2001. The
pledges are a significant portion of the Expansion budget.
As of June 30, we should have received $72,400 of pledge
contributions—the actual received was $31,725.
As this project gets underway, please remember your commitment. Let’s set a goal to be back on budget by the next quarterly
report (September 30, 2001)!
As a reminder, everyone is eligible for up to a $100
match from AAL on your contribution. If
you have volunteered 20 or more hours at Wyneken, you are eligible for an
