We remember those members who will celebrate birthdays this week – Don Bultemeier, Jarvis Cale, Sam Conrad, Brian Erxleben, Shawn Kiess, Alex Lichtle, Dawn Stoppenhagen, Kent Stoppenhagen, Brandon Buuck, Dawn Buuck, Nathan Buuck, Kari Heckman, Trisha Hockemeyer, and Lucas Strickler.  May the Lord continue to guide, direct, and bless them.

May the Great Physician grant health and strength to all who are in need of His presence in their lives.  We especially remember Phyllis Nidlinger, mother of John Nidlinger, who is in failing health, and Roberta Bergman, Toney Bergman’s mother, was a patient at Parkview but has since returned home.

Congratulations to Scott & Beth McCloskey who are celebrating their first anniversary this Wednesday, July 11.  We pray that the Lord will continue to guide this couple.

Included in this morning’s bulletin is our weekly study guide, “Time in the Word.”  This week’s theme is “Total Commitment.”

Parents, please encourage your children to come forward when asked this morning to hear a sermon geared especially to them.

Tune in to the Lutheran Hour next Sunday.  The show airs on Sunday on WLW (700) out of Cincinnati at 7:00 a.m. and on Van Wert stations WERT (1220) and WKSD (99.7 FM) at 10:30 a.m. (Ohio times).  The program airs Sunday at 8:05 a.m. on WZBD (92.7 FM) and again at 3:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. on 1090 AM.

The 8th graders are sponsoring a barbeque chicken dinner today.   You can go to our Quarterly Voters’ Meeting and then pick up your chicken.  Cost is $4 for half a chicken.   The 8th graders appreciate your support of this fundraiser.

The Men’s Fastpitch Softball League is sponsoring a golf outing this Saturday, July 14, at the Grey Goose.  It will be four-man Florida scramble with a 7 a.m. shotgun start at a cost of $45 per person.    Please contact Dale Gallmeyer if you have any questions or want to participate in this outing.

The LWML will continue their ingathering through August 12.  You may still bring items to church and place them in the boxes in either entrance way.  A list of needed items is posted in the entranceway.  One item needs to be added to that list.  Christian children’s books, in good condition, are also needed.

Please remember our Quarterly Voters’ Meeting this morning following our worship service.
