We thank our Seminarian, Jon Smithley,  for delivering this morning's sermon message.  We also pray the Lord's blessings upon him as he continues his studies for the ministry.

We remember our members celebrating birthdays this week -- Mitzi Cale, Loren Hartmann, Tami Schultz, Krista Selking, David Blomenberg, Adam Buuck, Zac Lichtle, Sherri Johnson, Andrea Johnson, Nevin Bultemeier, Alicia Drier, Aaron Bergman, Joshua Bickel, and David Brandt.  We remember our entire faculty and support staff at our Wyneken school as this is their last week of school. We also remember our members who teach at other parochial schools, Sandy Blomenberg,  Deb Miller, and Addy Schuller.  May the Lord continue to guide, direct, and bless their lives.

We remember Alvin  and Shirley Witte in our prayers as they celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary on Monday, May 29, and Dennis and Addy Schuller who will celebrate their 35th wedding anniversary on Tuesday, May 30.  May the Lord continue to bless these couples.

May the Great Physician grant health and strength to all who are in need of His presence in their lives.   We especially remember Margaret Kiefer who will undergo a series of chemotherapy treatments.  May the Lord guard and keep her in His care.

We extend our deepest sympathy to the family and friends of Gerhard Buuck who was called to his heavenly home last Sunday, May 21, and was given Christian burial on Wednesday, May 24.  May the God of all comfort be with those who mourn and remind them of that great day when they will be reunited with their loved one in heaven.

The flowers on the altar are to the glory of God and in honor of the 40th wedding anniversary of Alvin and Shirley Witte.   The flowers were placed in church by their children and grandchildren with love and admiration.
