Announcements

We remember our members celebrating birthdays this week -- Adele Blomenberg, Allen Buuck, Wava Lichtle, Chris Lichtle, Tyler Stoppenhagen, Esther Gallmeyer, Jo Buuck, Mark Conrad, Todd Lee, and Adam Sielschott.  In addition, we remember in our prayers our Wyneken 5th grade teacher, Rich  Schwantz, and one of our public school teachers, Kristie Brown.  May the Lord continue to guide, direct, and bless their lives.

May the Great Physician grant health and strength to all who are in need of His presence in their lives.  We especially remember in our prayers this morning    Clarence Bultemeier who  remains a patient at Parkview and  Donna Hileman who   had been a patient at Lutheran Hospital.

The memorial service for Ernie Muller will be this afternoon at 3:00 p.m. in Kramer Chapel on the grounds of the Concordia Theological Seminary.   Let us continue to keep the Muller family in our prayers.

Do you ever have times when you wonder if God really loves you?   A little-noticed word from God to Moses directs us to a source of certainty about God's love to us. Hear Dr. Dale Meyer's message, "He Loves Me; He Loves Me Not,"  on The Lutheran Hour.  The show airs on WOWO at 7:35 a.m., at 8:05 a.m. on 92.7 FM, and at  3:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. on 1090 on Sunday.

Are you starting to plan that "spring break" trip?  Did you know American Airlines, the  Hyatt, Marriott, Courtyard, Residence, and Fairfield Inns are all part of the SCRIP program?  When making those travel plans, you may wish to look over the vendors involved in our SCRIP program and think of purchasing some of their certificates.  See Kris Blomenberg or Becky DeKoninck after the worship service this morning if you wish to purchase some SCRIP.

Sports

A special thank you to the coaches, parents, and fans who have supported the various basketball teams this year.  In the LSAA tourney, the varsity boys lost a close game to St. Peter's while the girls were eliminated on Wednesday evening with a loss to Suburban Bethlehem.  The varsity girls are participating in the Indianapolis tourney.  We  pray for their safety as they return sometime today.
