3. A personal Word (v. 14) - "The Word became flesh."
4. A fruitful Word (vv. 12, 16) - "Children of God, Grace upon grace"

We remember our members celebrating birthdays this week -- Pastor Dahling, David Buuck, Brett Gallmeyer, Sheila Putteet, Davon Bultemeier, and Waldo Cornad. We also remember Elizabeth Kiefer whose name was inadvertently left off last week's listing. In addition, we remember in our prayers our Wyneken principal, Jim Krupski. May the Lord continue to guide, direct, and bless their lives.

May the Great Physician grant health and strength to all who are in need of His presence in their lives. We especially remember in our prayers this morning Ernie Muller and Sam Derrow (Misty Gehres' father) who is a patient at Lutheran Hospital.

We rejoice with Todd and Misty Gehres on the birth of their son, Oliver Doyle, on Christmas Day. May the Good Shepherd keep an ever-watchful eye on him

There will be a door collection today for Concordia Seminary.

Witches are now openly worshipping at some U.S. military bases. Witches and evil spirits serve the devil. However, when Jesus died on the cross, He "disarmed the rulers and authorities and made a public spectacle of them."
