We welcome this morning Pastor Tim Puls who is the dean of students at Concordia Theological Seminary in Ft. Wayne. Pastor Dahling is preaching at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Lawerancburg, IN. on the occasion of the fifteenth anniversary of Pastor Brian Feicho who was a classmate of pastor's. Pastor Dahling and family will return home sometime this afternoon.

Pastor Dahling and his family will be taking their summer vacation from this Friday until Saturday, August 1. Next Sunday Pastor will be preaching at the Ordination and Instalation of Pastor elect Jeff Henry at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, Huntington, W.Va. In the event that you will need any pastoral assistance next week contact Pastor Tom Olson ( 639-6178) or Pastor Dan Brege (547-4248). Next Sunday Seminarian Kevin Meyer will preach.

We remember those members who are celebrating birthdays this week --Evie Fuhrman, Shelli Spangler, Danielle Falk, Benjamin Miller, Randy Moellering, Beth Heimann, Sean Sielschott, and Jordan Buuck. May the Lord continue to guide, direct, and bless their lives.

We remember Louise Fuhrmann, who is a patient at Adams County Memorial Hospital. May the Great Physician grant health and strength to him and all who are in need of His presence in their lives.

Facing a giant problem in your life? Dr. Wallace Schulz says we need to remember how David, with faith in God, took on the great giant Goliath. Hear Dr. Schulz's Lutheran Hour message, "Never Fear Giant Problems", on The Lutheran Hour. The show airs on WOWO at 7:35 a.m. (8:05 a.m. on 92.7 FM) on Sunday.

Lutheran Hour Ministries sponsors the "Woman to Woman" program. It can be heard on WLAB (88.3 FM) at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday or 11:00 a.m. on WLYV (1450 AM) on Sunday. Listen to next week's program, "Hollywood: Are Our Children Under the Influence?" What do our kids absorb from entertainment? Does violence, sex, and obscenity have any effect? Do Hollywood films influence our children?

The men's softball team will be playing in the league tournement on Saturday July 24, We wish them the best as they close out their season.

The "Cornfusion" food committee has been meeting and would welcome any contributions of the following now and throughout the summer and fall.

The truck garden is in need of bushel baskets, bushel baskets, quart containers, and pint containers. Please contact Teri Conrad at 724-8464 if you can help with supplying some of these baskets. Also, don't forget to give Teri a call as your produce becomes available.

Cornfusion" is in need of a 2-way radio or walkie-talkie (-mile range). If you are willing to donate or lend these items through October 31, please contact Judy Werling (639-6132).

Volunteers are needed to work at "Cornfusion." A sign-up sheet is included in this morning's bulletin. Please take a moment to check your schedules and see when it would work for you to help at the maze. There will be a master schedule in the south entrance way of the church for you to check to remind you of when you signed up. Please complete the form and return to any committee member (listed on the sheet) as soon as possible. Everyone's cooperation and participation is needed to make "Cornfusion" run smoothly.

Wyneken News

The school office at Wyneken will be open mornings only through the summer months. You may also contact Mr. Krupski at his home (623-6316) in the evenings if needed.

The Annual Wyneken Association Meeting will take place in the fellowship hal at St. John, Bingen, on July 19th, at 8 PM.

SCRIP order forms and certificates will be available throughout the summer at our church. You may also mail your order to Kris Blomenberg. See Kris this morning if you wish to purchase SCRIP.
